The Desview R7S 7-inch is a New and High-Resolution Touch Screen On-Camera Monitor which allows users to view their footage on a larger screen. It gives all instructions only by touching. Touching the screen twice for the main menu, pinch-to-zoom gesture for image zoom. No complicated button control is needed.
Desview R7S monitor features a 7“ 16:10, high-resolution 1920x1200 touch screen. Its user-friendly and intuitive interface enables you to access virtually every feature on the monitor. It can be controlled by simply tapping screen just like a smartphone. The R7S monitor also features Pinch Zoom, which enables you to quickly zoom in to check focus etc. You can also lock the touch screen by short pressing the power button, to prevent any accidental changes to your monitor’s settings.
The R7S Touch Screen Monitor supports both 3G-SDI and 4K HDMI input and output signals, and resolutions including 1080p (Full HD), 2160p (4K Ultra HD), 4096x2160p (True 4K). It also supports uncompressed video transmission and multiple devices monitoring. R7S monitor is compatible with Canon Sony Nikon Panasonic Fujifilm cameras as well as Professional Video Cameras. The R7S monitor also features a 3.5mm headphone port for real-time audio monitoring.
The R7S has a high brightness rating of 1000nits, which produces a crystal-clear picture, even when filming in strong sunlight. With a contrast ratio of 1100:1 and viewing angle of 178°, the R7S ensures a great monitoring experience from virtually any angle.
The R7S features a built-in light sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen’s backlight according to ambient light levels in your shooting environment. This will protect your eyes from strain and provide you with a more comfortable monitoring experience, day, or night.
The R7S supports High-Dynamic-Range (HDR), which allows you to see more details and colours, especially in the highlights and shadows. HDR boasts a wider colour gamut, meeting around 90 per cent of the DCI-P3 standard, the colour space currently used by the film industry for cinema. It also increases the colour depth to reduce the occurrence of banding between similar colours, more control on contrast or black levels to create more realistic looking images.
The R7S Touch Screen Monitor has two NP-F battery (NP-F970/330/F550/F570) slots, which enables filmmakers to switch batteries, without needing to temporarily turn off the monitor, saving precious shooting time. There is a DC port for external charging, so you don’t have to worry about a power outage during long video shoots.
Desview R7S Touch Screen Monitor has many professional auxiliary shooting functions, such as Histogram, Vectorscope, Waveform, False Colour, Focus Peaking, Zoom etc. You can import custom LUTs via SD card, to change the image colour tone instantly. The Histogram shows the brightness of images brightness levels in your footage, the waveform shows exposure information, and Vectorscope shows how the image's colour is constructed. These features will greatly speed up workflow for Videographers and camera operators.
As well a Pro-Sumer grade DSLR and Video cameras, the Desview R7S Monitor can also suitable for use with Broadcast Grade cameras, making it a great choice doe either serious amateurs or seasoned professional broadcast camera operators.
