The PixaPro CITI600 (Godox Wistro AD600BM) is a revolutionary battery-powered portable manual flash light that features a self-contained rechargeable battery, the High-Speed Studio Powerful Stroboscopic Flash that uses Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology to achieve short flash durations, as well as fast recycle times, which allows you to capture fast motion such as dancing, jumping and even water splashes with ease. With a built-in receiver and a variety of different modes from HSS to the multi-burst, it is perfect for people who shoot weddings, portraits, events, fashion, sports and advertising. It is especially good for shooting on location due to the flash being easily portable.
The CITI600 studio flash light has an 11.1V / 8700mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack giving approximately 500 full-powered shots per charge, perfect to keep you going throughout a shoot without the need for mains power.
Thanks to the Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor Technology used in the PixaPro CITI600 manual flash light it can produce short flash durations of between 1/220 second to 1/10,000 second for sharper images whilst maintaining colour accuracy throughout its power range which opens a whole world of possibilities.
The CITI600 manual flash light features an automatic temperature-controlled ventilation system to ensure it is safe and protected whilst, in frequent use, the cooling fan will kick in to protect the flash when running at high temperatures.
The PixaPro CITI600 has a 600Ws flash tube that has a 9-stop power range that can be powered down to 1/256 power of its full power in 1/3rd increments. It also includes a 10W LED modelling lamp which is equivalent to approximately 100W tungsten but runs much cooler for longer usage time.
This CITI600 manual flash light has super short recycling times between 0.01 and 2.5 seconds and 16 controllable groups and 32 different channels to provide maximum flexibility and control with your flash. This feature enables you to capture fast-moving subjects such as water flashes etc.
The CITI 600’s user-friendly interface, with a large Dot-Matrix LCD screen, enables you to quickly and easily change your flash settings with the use of large, easy-to-access buttons and a control dial. Making it easy to make the most of all the lights features.
The Stroboscopic Flash feature causes your CITI600 pocket flash light to fire multiple low-powered flashes in rapid succession, which can be set to between 2 and 100 flashes at a frequency between 1 and 100Hz (flashes per second), which allows you to create many different effects such as stroboscopic photography. Combined with a slow shutter speed, you can capture a sequence of images of a moving subject in one exposure just like the image above.
The Pixapro CITI600 pocket flash light features a High-Speed Sync (HSS) mode, which enables your flash to sync at higher shutter speeds than normal (with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 of a second) to help overpower the sun.
The CITI600 s-type manual flash light features a Pre-flash detector system (intelligent slave cell) cell that can be set to ignore a Pre-Flash, which enables the use of the CITI600 alongside speed lights or any other TTL strobe
The CITI600 manual flash light features a built-in 2.4GHz flash receiver, which allows it to be used in conjunction with the PixaPro 2.4GHz flash Triggers. This allows you to control your flash heads remotely such as flash power settings, modelling lamp on/off, changing groups & channels and Triggering.
The One System allows you to communicate with our PixaPro flashes built-in receivers and control them all from one trigger. The 2.4GHz system will give you full functionality, compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Olympus & Pentax with full control and even high-end cameras from Hasselblad, Leica and PhaseOne with basic control.
The PixaPro CITI600 s-type manual flash light uses an S-Type accessory mount, making it compatible with a wide range of accessories and modifiers.
The PixaPro CITI600 s-type manual flash light is a simple, easy-to-use battery-powered unit which offers many features suitable for both amateur and professional photographers. This is the perfect light to give crisp sharp images whilst boasting super-fast recycle times and flash duration to capture motion for use in the studio or on location. This compact and lightweight flash is perfect for people who shoot weddings, portraits, events, fashion, sports, and advertising. Thanks to its portability it's especially good for shooting on location
Please Note: PiXAPRO Flash and Triggering Systems are fully compatible with Godox 2.4GHz Triggers, which will allow you to mix both Godox and PiXAPRO Equipment together without issue.
Please Note: Any units created from 2022 will feature a brand-new software system and will be set to 1.0 or 1.1. This would be the most up-to-date version of the software available for the unit. If you attempt to update the firmware with older versions, this could cause damage to the unit.

I have both the TTL and the Manual version of the Pixapro 600 and have been using these for a number of years. Throughout, they've been brilliant (pun intended) and super reliable. I've used all of the modes in all sorts of locations (beach, woods, studio, urban...) and it's been easy with great results. I especially love the HSS for dance and powder shots, never a shot missed because of the lights! I heartily recommend this product! David.
As a new(ish) photographer starting out I needed something that was robust, well priced, good quality and above all else simple to use. The CITI600 has not disappointed. The CITI600 has not disappointed. I purchased 3 and a trigger and was able to be up and running with the basics within minutes. The control from the trigger is superb and couldn’t be more easy to use. I am a total Luddite and was able to understand the flashes and various modes without having to sit through dull YouTube videos demonstrating their use. The only down side I can see so far is the need to purchase the trigger separately. That’s like buying shoes and being charged separately for the laces. As for the customer services, they were great. Some kit was missing from my order and some was the wrong stuff but it was sorted within 24 hours without question.
Haven’t used this item yet, but it looks and feels like a high quality product. I hope to eventually replace my Elinchrom studio flash with these units.
Excellent reviews for studio & outdoor high-speed sync.
