The PIXAPRO LECO500S II is a user-friendly 36W Daylight-Balanced LED Square Panel Light suitable for both stills and video they can be powered using the included AC mains adapter or Sony NP-F Series (a.k.a. L series) rechargeable batteries (available separately or included with battery bundle option 2) giving you approximately 120 minutes of power per unit and the flexibility to work on location away from mains power. Now with improved colour accuracy, the LECO500S II LED square panel light is perfect for all kinds of work, including photography but also videography such as YouTube or short film shooting.
Flicker-Free
The LECO500S II LED square panel light features 36W of Brightness and 600 Flicker-Free bright dimmable LEDs enabling you to shoot at virtually any framerate, or any shutter-angle without fear of introducing flicker.
Daylight Balanced
The colour temperature is 5600K equivalent to daylight Balanced, enabling you to match your lighting to simulate natural window light, along with a CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) of 96 for accurate colour reproduction.
Wireless 2.4GHz Remote Control
Enables you to control the brightness of up to 99 individual unitsat distances ofup to approximately 30m.
Smart-passive Cooling System
Efficiently dissipates heat without the need for cooling fans, making the LECO500S II LED square panel light noise-free (great for when shooting video).
Energy Efficient
Last up to ten times longer than CFL lights, using 1/3 to 1/30 of the energy consumed by fluorescent or incandescent lights. Running cooler as they convert around 90 percent of the energy consumed into light as opposed to tungsten lights where most of the energy is converted into heat making the shooting environment a lot more comfortable for your subject.

Q:Can you use the NP-F970 batteries with the LECO500S or the LECO500B

A:Yes, Both LECO500 panels are compatible with the NP-F970 battery. Each panel requires 2x batteries to operate.

A:I can confirm that the LECO500 panels will keep the previous settings when turning off the unit which can be helpful if you being used in a difficult to access or fixed position.

Q:Is the number for full daylight 5600K? I can't seem to set it.

The single colour version of this light will only operate on 5600K, it will not allow you to change the colour temperature of the light, only the brightness.
On the display, the numbers should show as 56 and then 2 other numbers that can be adjusted. The 56 stands for the colour temperature of 5600K. If you turn the dial the last two numbers will change which should adjust the brightness of the light.

Q:The back display says 'LO' when switched on, but the light is not turning on. How do i resolve this issue?

A:'LO' stands for low power protection mode. This means the light has not been supplied with enough power, which would usually happen when using the light with batteries. It is very unusual it shows when using mains power. However, if it does show with mains, we usually suggest to change the power cable or the port where you are plugging the cable into.
